Advertised Summary Job Description: The primary responsibility of the Digital Media Manager is the management of the Columbia School of Social Work (CSSW) digital media assets. The Digital Media Manager works collaboratively with faculty and staff in the advisement and production of media digital content for the residential and online MSW programs. The DMM also ensures that all CSSW Online Campus media is close-captioned.
General Minimum Qualifications: ?A Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years' related experience or relevant combination of education and experience ?Experience with media hosting technology platforms such as Kaltura or Panopto. ?Superior organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner. ?Exceptional training and coaching skills. ?Ability to diplomatically work with various stakeholders including faculty, students, associates, teaching assistants, live support specialists and administrators. ?Demonstrated expertise in video production and editing software. ?Solution-oriented. ?Thrives in fast-paced, high-intensity work environment. ?Creative. ?Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. ?Proficiency in video conferencing technology, such as Facetime, Skype, Google Hangouts, Adobe Connect, or Zoom. ?Availability for weekend and evening hours.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: ?Familiarity and experience in social work education and/or university setting. ?Understanding, efficiency and experience working with educational technology (LMS and/or software platforms). ?Professional experience working in virtual teams. ?Experience as student in an online higher education course.
