This Medical Video Editor position is responsible for:
The Video Production/elearning Associate production of digital media and developing online courses for the Department of Medical Education including the Audio/video production and post-production, graphic design, photography, image editing, and media management.
Supporting the Continuing Medical Education Department in the daily operations of continuing education (CME) programs to include compliance, planning, implementation, evaluation and CME policies and procedures generation.
Supporting the development of video and digital media projects, from conception through to completion and final output.
Working independently to record and edit live presentations, interviews, explainer videos, and scripted scenarios.
Creating and editing visual assets for instructional programs, including PowerPoint presentations, charts, diagrams, photos, animations, and info graphics.
Building online courses in the LMS, and facilitating other online learning such as webinars.
Assisting in developing and implementing systems and standards for the production and development of online learning.
Maintaining and upgrading digital media software and equipment.
To qualify, you must have:
Demonstrated applied knowledge of media production software and technologies; strong project management and communication skills; and education, experience or strong interest in online learning. Basic web development or eLearning authoring experience preferred.
Strong current experience in the field of educational media and technology.
Familiarity with digital media production tools, such as Adobe Premier, Photoshop, Audacity, and PowerPoint.
The ability to provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations and additionally be able to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
Education or experience in video or digital media production.
Strong technical knowledge digital media production, including video, audio, and graphics.
Excellent communication, written and social media skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Strong time management abilities and the ability to manage multiple projects as well as have a keen interest or basic knowledge of academic medicine.
The capacity to be a strategic thinker and be Innovative.
