Major Duties: - Teach at all undergraduate levels in the Sculpture Program and three-dimensional Foundation Program, with an opportunity to design and develop courses and curriculum.- Make connections across the curriculum, fostering interdisciplinary studio practice.- Service on BFA thesis committees. - Maintain an active research record and participate in contractually appropriate service to the institution.
Minimum Qualifications: - M.F.A. degree or international equivalent; prior teaching experience; a vibrant professional exhibition track record commensurate with years of experience in the field; evidence of creative, professional, and curricular accomplishment in sculpture is required.- Fabrication skills with successful incorporation of some of the following materials and processes are required: wood, metals, ceramics, plaster, found objects, welding, casting, mold making, foundry operation, prototyping, digital processes (CNC router, laser cut technologies, 3D printing) or contemporary time-based digital media.
