Essential Job Duties:
The appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor level, with appointment at the Associate Professor level possible based upon qualifications. This position will offer opportunities to teach architecture studios at all levels, lecture courses, and seminars in areas of expertise. Commensurate with the level of appointment, we expect the successful candidate to demonstrate an identified focus for scholarship and research. We also expect candidates to demonstrate the promise, passion, and creativity to integrate their scholarly interests with their teaching.
The candidate’s portfolio must demonstrate design excellence. The successful candidate will have opportunities to further the school's legacy or establish new initiatives in digital media, digital representation, digital fabrication, computation, simulation, or other areas of research congruent with their design work.
Requires doctor’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrated potential for leadership in the professional field and community.
Demonstrated competency with a mix of traditional and leading-edge technologies.
Professional license to practice architecture preferred for all studio instructors.
Experience in teaching at the college level is preferred.
