Efficiently remedy on-air emergencies in a fast-paced, news-oriented environment. The position is full time(4 days/week, 10 hours/day)plus overtime as needed. Schedule rotations may include weekends, evenings and occasional overnight hours as this network is 24/7/365.
Hands on work with hardware and software solutions Troubleshooting of all SD/HD broadcast systems (including studio, control room, satellite, production, post, graphics and communications systems) Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience as an electronic broadcast maintenance engineer at a network or major market station Associates degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent education preferred Possess a working knowledge of digital and analog SD/HD audio/video technologies Ability to troubleshoot and repair system problems and equipment down to the component level if necessary Knowledge of computers, video/audio servers, and networking is a primary requirement Fluent in the use of a diverse array of hardware and software tools used for control, upgrades and troubleshooting of these broadcast systems
FCC or SBE certifications are a plus Strong communication skills Ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously Additional Job Requirements:
