FULL TIME; CAREER Starting Salary Range: $4,150 - $7,250/monthly. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Involves recommending, developing, implementing, administering, coordinating, and / or evaluating Academic Human Resources policies, labor contracts, statutes, programs, and procedures covering one or more of the following: academic recruitment, appointment, and advancement; compensation and salary administration; faculty welfare programs; visa procurement; benefits; payroll; training and development; faculty misconduct; and faculty equity.
As a seasoned experienced professional with a comprehensive understanding of UC, campus, and unit academic practices, policies, and procedures, resolves moderate to complex academic HR-related issues affecting a broad range of academic titles in imaginative and practical ways.
The Arts Division offers technical training, aesthetic development, and historical, theoretical, and critical studies in art, history of art and visual culture, dance design/technology, drama, film and digital media, digital arts and new media, games and playable media, and music to all undergraduates as well as to undergraduate majors and graduate students. The division is comprised of departments and programs of study, organized research units, instructional and research programs to attract and retain a diverse population of students, and a variety of support programs and facilities.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Requires in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply/interpret organization and university policies and procedures which govern academic HR.
Excellent critical and innovative thinking skills to address complex issues and present nuanced analyses.
Thorough knowledge of systemwide and organization policies, union contracts, procedures and practices that govern academic HR administration.
Thorough knowledge of organization and university goals, priorities and values and the legal and human implications of decisions.
