The Department of Technology, Culture and Society at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for a full time, non-tenured, renewable faculty position in Integrated Digital Media, with a start date of September 1, 2017. Applicants should include a cover letter, current CV, three letters of reference, teaching evaluations if available, and other supporting documents, such as curriculum development materials. All application materials should be submitted electronically.

The successful candidate should be an excellent teacher. All areas of digital media will be considered, but with a preference for individuals with research and teaching interests at the intersection of engineering and creative practice, including, but not limited to: assistive technology, digital fabrication, physical and wearable computing, human-computer interaction, machine learning and applied media, interactive installation, motion capture or real-time live performance. The candidate should be committed to all levels of teaching, from introductory undergraduates to graduate students. Candidates must have a Master degree in Integrated Digital Media or a related field and an outstanding record of artistic practice, scholarship and/or teaching in these areas.
