Office of the Dean (Regional Campuses): Regional eLearning Digital Media Specialist
The E-Learning Digital Media Specialist will perform graphic design and format web pages using Adobe Creative Suite, HTML coding, and University CMS system; assist in the design of E-Learning production projects including website graphical elements, advertisements, newsletters, presentations, e-learning course templates, email templates, web banners, event graphics, social media visuals and infographics; coordinate media project timelines for web, video projects, and photography deadlines using Miami identity and web accessibility standards; develop training materials and front-end support for faculty technology needs; keep current on e-learning technology and trends; oversee and assist with implementation of projects within the E-Learning department; work collaboratively with regional campus partners and offices; Produce technical written projects that are clear, concise, appropriately detailed, and understandable by diverse audiences of faculty, staff, and/or students. Utilizes proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and follows language rules. Ensures consistent application of styles and established layout plans. Ensures technical information is accurate; other duties as assigned.
Require: Associate degree in associated area; significant graphic design and web development experience; excellent interpersonal skills and team approach; experience with learning management systems; Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to effectively communicate with a wide variety of staff/faculty regarding the publication of information on the web. Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite (or other HTML Coding application) to perform graphic design and format web pages according to Miami identity standards; create, edit, and manipulate graphical and interactive elements; Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Google Tools, Microsoft Suite, Web-Based Apps, Mobile Technologies, Online Research, and Technical Troubleshooting. Strong organization skills with emphasis on being conscientious and detail-oriented. Demonstrate ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision in a team environment to meet project deadlines.
