SENIOR POLICY ASSOCIATE (COMMUNICATION) , Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) , to support J-PAL's mission--under the supervision of a policy manager--by leading the design, execution, evaluation, and improvement of its policy outreach work through digital media, primarily J-PAL's web, YouTube, and social media outlets. Will work with other members of the policy, graphics, and research teams to disseminate results of J-PAL research to policymakers, promote policy outreach activities to targeted audiences, and advise on communications strategies and channels. Will work closely with J-PAL Regional Office staff to tailor communications work at the local level.

REQUIRED : a bachelor's degree, preferably in the study of economics, political science, or other relevant social science area; solid proficiency in web content management and CMS such as Drupal; proficiency with social media and Google and web analytics; knowledge of Salesforce, YouTube management, and video editing; at least four years' overall experience including specific experience in digital media content management; proven ability to think broadly about media channels, content, and audiences; attention to detail; advanced writing skills for communicating policy lessons; clear, precise, non-technical writing and creativity in presentation; proven ability to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines; demonstrated ability to efficiently organize and manage a high volume of work; ability to self-manage a time-sensitive workflow while maintaining high quality output; and absolute accuracy with details.
