Activities related to college teaching and learning including but not limited to:
Instructional planning, teaching, learning and assessment of student performance.
Student retention and advising.
Maintenance of professional skills and credentials.
Work closely with department to maintain and enhance curriculum and assess program outcomes.
Master's degree with a major in biology or
Master's degree in any discipline/field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in biology.
Demonstrate familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college.
Dedication to teaching and student learning providing quality education emphasizing college level standards.
Commitment to studying, analyzing, and implementing learning strategies that will help students reach their education goals.
Experience using teaching techniques that support diverse learning styles.
Excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to work as a member of a team.
Knowledge and experience in the use of a wide variety of instructional technology, including Interactive Television and online course instruction.
