Position Description: Department of Film, Television and Digital Media (100%): Incumbent's job duties include: independently tests, operates, modifies, repairs, schedules and supervises the use of television cameras, audio and related equipment items and systems used throughout the department.
Major duties include: Devising and managing sophisticated quality control systems for all television and audio equipment. Troubleshooting and repair of defective equipment. Simultaneous and ongoing consultation with faculty, researchers, equipment vendors and staff to develop, manage and maintain myriad television and audio items and systems equipment check out programs for departmental and other uses. Training and supervision in television and audio equipment items and systems operation and post production processes for faculty and researchers. Training and supervision of staff in operation, troubleshooting and repair work on large variety of television and audio equipment items and systems.
