Under the direction of the Senior Manager for Digital Media Services, the Operations Manager is responsible for leading Audiovisual (AV) service execution and support for UCLA Health and DGSOM. This AV Operations Manager position oversees the delivery of a broad range of services including system installation and support, event support, lecture capture, video/web/teleconferencing, and digital signage. The AV Operations Manager will manage the operation, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of complex integrated AV systems. In addition to covering normal business hours, this position will also provide periodic on-call coverage for weekend and evening events.
Minimum of 5 years prior experience directly supporting AV equipment and users in a large higher educational, corporate or hospitality enterprise highly desired; will also consider experience supporting other IT disciplines.
Demonstrated proficiency with sound reinforcement, video recording, digital projection and integrated AV control systems.
Exceptional candidates will have expertise in one or more of the following AV disciplines: audio & acoustics; digital audio (Dante, Cobranet, etc.); digital video (EDID, HDCP, HDBaseT, AVB, DXLInk); DSP programming (BSS preferred); video conferencing (Cisco); video streaming; digital signage; AV systems design; AV project management.. Infocomm CTS certification, or other industry or manufacturer training is a plus.
