Nemours is seeking a Multimedia Specialist (Deskside Support), Full-Time, to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.
At Nemours, each Associate plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of world-class pediatric care to the children we serve. The team based at our home office in Jacksonville, Fla. provides essential administrative, financial and technical support to Nemours operations across all locations.
This Multimedia Specialist position is responsible for delivering an exceptional video conference and technology based meeting experience to all Nemours users. This entails video infrastructure maintenance and support, conference room equipment maintenance and support, video conference scheduling, creating & managing user accounts, providing technical support, processing Help Desk tickets, and escalating to appropriate teams when necessary. The Multimedia Specialist will manage and maintain equipment and projects related to surgical operating rooms, informational displays, digital signage, patient room and waiting area televisions, video recording and other various related technologies. In addition, the Multimedia Specialist will manage integration partners during new installation and upgrade projects. The Multimedia Specialist will also support and maintain web/audio collaboration solution application(s) and other related user applications.
Provide assistance and coordination of all video conferencing calls.
Configure and optimize video conference infrastructure to handle internal and external conference.
Optimize video conference equipment to make efficient use of resources,
Provide education and instruction to IS staff and users on effective use of video conference equipment.
Support and Maintain web/audio collaboration tools.
Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, upgrade and removal.
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure documentation as needed.
Maintain current inventory of all video related equipment.
High School Diploma required. Specialized (1 year of training beyond high school) required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience required.
Excellent team and interpersonal skills. Possess good customer service skills.
Able to work with a minimum of supervision
Able to handle problems in a calm and responsive manner
Clear, analytical thinking and problem solving ability
