The School of Communication and the Arts seeks one adjunct for Spring 2020 to teach MDIA310 – Interactive Media II. In order to accommodate working individuals’ schedules, this class is scheduled for the evening of Monday from 6:30-9pm.
Bachelor’s degree in Media, Information Technology, Design, or a related field. Classroom teaching experience. A background in design thinking and the design process. Experience working in the field of interactive media and design, and holding positions such as user experience designer, user interface designer (UI/UX), information architect and/or media producer.
Master’s degree in a related field and/or post-grad classes in UI/UX. Several years’ teaching experience. Solid background in wireframe creation (using programs like Adobe XD, Justinmind, or Balsamiq), usability, creating site maps, and user testing.
