A part-time instructor is needed to teach SPM 300 Digital Media in Sport (3 credits) during the Fall 2020 semester. Course Description: This course provides an understanding and the usage of social media within the sport industry for both sport organizations and their fans. This includes emerging Internet-based platforms such as Facebook and Twitter along with other forms of online digital media and emerging technology. The course will also examine how consumers are utilizing digital channels and technologies and in how those channels those channels and technologies are being utilized by professional and amateur sport organizations. A variety of tools both in person and online will be utilized for students to develop an understanding of digital media in sport. ONLINE Class dates: 8/24/20-12/9/20
