We are currently searching for a Network Operations Center Director to fill a full-time role with a worldwide outsourced production partner supporting premier content producers of live sports, entertainment, music, and corporate events.

 

This position is located the Dallas, TX Metro Area.

 

About the Opportunity

Our client is building a new Operations Center to expand its centralized and distributed production abilities, increase their remote monitoring and operations as well as platform all of their Operations Center capabilities globally. The Director will have the opportunity to help create a center from the ground up, supporting live production needs around the world. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with global operation centers to develop a single internal platform for fault monitoring, trouble ticket escalation and reporting.
  • Manage, lead, hire, train, and schedule 24/7 Global NOC support staff.
  • Develop operational processes for managing distributed infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement support plan and escalation strategy for troubleshooting live on-air network and connectivity related issues.
  • Maintain and track network related performance data
  • Engage and lead on internal projects to develop methodology and systems for granular resource scheduling.
  • Work closely with internal development teams to ensure internally created tools align with the long-term strategy for the OpsCenter.
  • Track and report on risks, contingency plans and roadblocks to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure that forward thinking technologies are factored into operations including but not limited to AI toolsets.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in a global operations environment.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with key tools including ticketing, fault monitoring, dashboard, and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Project, Jira and/or other project management tools.
 

Education & certification requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field strongly preferred
