We are looking for:  

Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our high-performing team and oversee audiovisual systems integration projects while helping to ensure client success. 

 

In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of AV integration and broadcast projects, taking responsibility for some of our largest and most significant endeavors. The ideal candidate is located on the West Coast of the United States and is open to travel, as this position works PST hours and requires extensive travel to client sites within that geographic area.

Job Responsibilities:  

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Provide project leadership for the successful coordination and delivery of audiovisual and broadcast system installations, including both installed and loose equipment, for events, networks, technology companies, and experience projects.
  • Deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to key stakeholders and partners as required.

  • Lead meetings and workshops necessary to deliver the project.

  • Assist other project managers if assigned.

Client Management:

  • Support the client team to establish baseline project budgets and implement cost control procedures, taking responsibility for budget control and reconciliation.
  • Lead the vendor bidding process, including preparing bid documents, interviewing and recommending vendors, and introducing the project to the selected vendor.

  • Prepare contract documents, scope of work documents, and key performance indicators for vendors, aligning payment terms and conditions with the client's vendor selection requirements.

Resource Allocation:

  • Coordinate the output of the engineering design team during the design stages and construction, ensuring all design requirements are clearly documented, reviewed, and fit for purpose.

  • Monitor the construction progress, identify potential risks, and proactively find possible solutions.

  • Schedule all vendors to meet overall project deadlines as they relate to the building process and first day of business, adapting schedules as required if the end date moves.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that coordination of AV and broadcast requirements are aligned with the building completion schedule.

  • Communicate changes to appropriate teams and liaise with leadership to adjust resources accordingly.

  • Report on program performance to the leadership and account manager.

  • Conduct regular site walks ensuring ASG project and client standards are being met or surpassed.

  • Demonstrate a willingness to go the extra mile and take initiative to support the team.

 

Qualifications & Experience:  

  • A formal qualification/certification/degree in Architecture, Construction, Entertainment, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years years of relevant project management work experience.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.

  • Experience with meeting spaces, theaters, performing arts, studios, data centers, or buildings either through direct experience or professional project management work.

  • Fundamental understanding of system functionality and installation processes and techniques.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a proven ability to manage complex budgets.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of G Suite, SmartSheet, and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

Compensation & Benefits:


This full-time role offers a salary of $120,000-$140,000 depending on experience.
