Associate Director of Media and Technology Solutions
The Associate Director of Media and Technology Solutions will lead the integration and management of media technology with traditional IT infrastructure. You will oversee the daily operations of video studios, AV networks, storage solutions, event spaces, and server rooms, while also leading the expansion of traditional IT support services. You will balance creative and technical needs to ensure our infrastructure meets the demands of all media production projects. We ask that you are someone with expertise in studio management, process development, and IT systems. The Associate Director will report to the Senior Director of Creative Studios.

Responsibilities*- Lead the Media and Technology Solutions team by setting clear goals, facilitating collaboration across media and IT functions, and improving through performance reviews, regular knowledge-sharing sessions, and cross-departmental projects.
- Empower team members by assigning ownership of important projects, creating tailored development plans, and providing access to training and mentorship opportunities that align with industry advancements in media technology and IT infrastructure.
- Lead the implementation of strategies to integrate media technology with traditional IT services, while contributing to the vision and budget of the domain.
- Balance the latest technology implementation with process development, ensuring efficient operations across all technical domains.
- Oversee the management of video studios, AV networks, storage solutions, event spaces, and server rooms, ensuring high-quality production capabilities, performance, reliability, and security for educational and promotional content.
- Lead the development and documentation of processes and make recommendations that enhance efficiency across all technical operations.
- Oversee the support of the technical infrastructure necessary for XR studios, virtual production environments, and other advanced media production facilities
- Manage multi-phase projects, ensuring delivery within scope and budget.
- Design and implement high-availability systems and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of service.
- Build relationships with team members and external vendors, aligning technical solutions with organizational goals.
- Inspire creativity by staying current with industry trends in broadcast, film, AV, and IT sectors, and applying this knowledge to enhance our capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Media Technology, Computer Science, Film/Video Production) or equivalent experience.
- 7+years of experience managing media production studios and technical teams.
- Experience developing efficient workflows.
- Resolve complex technical issues in real-time.
- Hands-on experience with system integration, ensuring seamless operation between hardware and software systems.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking protocols, server management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Facilitate open dialogue, and maintain a positive team culture.
- Expertise in leading and developing technical teams, with a focus on mentoring, skill development, and promoting an environment of trust and autonomy.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service, with a focus on understanding and meeting the needs of all partners
The mode of work for this position is Hybrid. The work requirements for this position allow both onsite and offsite work and you will have an expected regular and recurring onsite presence. On occasion, you may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by our center's policy and domain leadership or by your job requirements. The salary for this position will be based on your education and experience. You may have occasional non-standard work hours, such as evenings or weekends. Additional InformationSalary Information
The general salary range for this position is $115,000- $125,000. You can expect to be paid a great compensation package. Factors used to determine salary include experience for the position and internal equity within the unit.
